When your account is registered with ChannelMAX, you will be emailed the ChannelMAX system-generated password along with your chosen ChannelMAX UserID.
1. Registered Amazon Locale
The registered selling venue (such as Amazon USA) would be added to the 'Selling Venue' list under 'selling.channelmax.net --> Settings --> Account'.
2. Inventory Download from Amazon
Using your credentials, ChannelMAX will automatically import your SKUs from your Amazon account along with the 'Available quantity'.
The SKUs imported from Amazon will be reflected in the 'Repricing' page of your ChannelMAX account. You may note that by default, FBA SKUs are set to import automatically. You may manually enable the FBM (nonFBA SKUs) auto-import option as pointed out in this help link.
3. Minimum and Maximum Price Setup (Floor & Ceiling price)
ChannelMAX Repricer needs two critical price points: bottom price or floor (defined in ChannelMAX as 'Min') and high price or ceiling price (defined in ChannelMAX as 'Max').
When the SKUs are imported, your 'then' Selling Price on Amazon will be imported and saved as the Maximum Selling Price under the "Max" field, which you can change as per your requirement. The "Min"(Minimum Selling Price) field will be empty/blank. Unless you update the Min Price, we cannot Reprice an item.
You may Click Here to upload Min (MinSellingPrice) via the "File Uploader" option: Here is how to manually update Min price for testing the repricer.
4. Repricer Schedule
Repricer will be automatically scheduled every 30 minutes (or Continuous) as per the plan chosen during registration. You can see 'Schedules' under Selling--> Repricing-->Schedules.
Once the SKU import is complete, the repricer is forced to run. Once the repricer is complete, the 'Repricing' dashboard will be refreshed with the BuyBox price, competitor price, your current price, Amazon sales rank and product category, and so on. It will show your current 'BuyBox' count, 'In BuyBox' count, and 'Deadbeat' count.
BuyBox count represents how many SKUs you held BuyBox at the time of repricing.
In BuyBox count represents those SKUs for which you don't have BuyBox but you are in the 'BuyBox Rotation'.
The Deadbeat count represents those SKUs for which your floor (bottom price) plus shipping is at least 5% higher than that of the BuyBox total price. Deadbeat SKUs will be hard for you to sell as you would seldom get BuyBox on these SKUs. You may lower your Cost/Min to become more competitive.
6. Enable Repricer Feed
When a new account is created, by default, no prices will be updated to Amazon, as this reporting is for demonstration purposes only. However, you may make ChannelMAX repricer live, meaning start feeding prices to Amazon by setting the Enable rule to YES in the Repricing model page under Settings --> Repricing --> Repricing Model --> Default.
The Repricing Model is the place where you can make the Repricer live and set the rules on how exactly you want to compete with the competitors.
The 'Default' Repricing Model will be created by ChannelMAX which may be modified. The default setting will be to match your price with the lowest offer for your FBA SKUs.
Against nonFBA offers, the Maximize BBox setting, repricer would keep your FBA SKU price higher than other nonFBA listings as you can get BuyBox even if you are higher than other nonFBA offers.
For your FBA SKUs, while competing with Amazon, the repricer would keep your price matched against Amazon whereas, for your FBM(nonFBA) SKUs, the repricer would lower your price by 1 cent against Amazon, so that your listing is the lowest in offers display page. You may click here to read more regarding the other repricer strategies.
Once repricer is made live by setting reprice rule#'Enable' to 'Yes' under Settings-->Repricing-->Repricing Model', you may view the entries under Settings-->Repricing-->Feed Status with records '_DONE_' under Status column for the number of SKUs repriced.
