At this time, ChannelMAX would take your standard price on Amazon and feed it to your business account, which can be the same as that of the standard price or lower depending on your configuration. Also, using ChannelMAX, depending upon the quantity (more than 1) of an item bought, you can configure your discount, either in percent or fixed amount.
The reason a Business Pricing discount is based on more than 1 quantity is that if a buyer buys 1 quantity, then why he should get a discount on the regular price? We believe you will be losing money.
However, when a buyer buys more than 1 quantity (bulk quantity), then you can give him a discount.
NOTE: If the Business price is higher than the standard price for some reason, only the standard price will be shown.
You can set up Quantity Discounts which are tiered discounts available to Amazon Business Customers for higher-volume purchases. In this Amazon Business Seller Program, you can specify tiers for Quantity Pricing.
The first step is to decide whether the Quantity Discounts is a percentage-based discount or if you want to fix the prices directly. Two values are possible: Percent and Fixed Amount.
The second step is to set up the prices and thresholds for each tiered discount. You can configure up to 5 tiered discounts for each product.
Quantity discount must be set in ascending order. Example:
Discount = 3%, Qty=4
Discount = 4%, Qty=6
Discount = 5%, Qty=8
However, the following is not valid:
Disc=3%, Qty=6
Disc=4%, Qty=4
Disc=5%, Qty=8
Points to remember:
1. The discounted price (Business Price) cannot be below the floor.
Example:
Say the floor is $10, and the current regular Selling price is $11
Business Price is set to 10% discount on Quantity of 5 and above
Now 10% of $11 is $1.10 i.e; $9.90, which is less than the floor $10
In this case, the Business Price Qty discount will not be fed to Amazon.
2. Sellers can set The business price floor separate from the Standard price floor.
NOTE: We can feed business Prices, only if there is a change in the (regular) price. Business Price will work only if the "newPrice" tag is present in regular log analysis.
You may set up a Business Price feed in bulk by configuring the repricing model as pointed out above or configure only for a specific SKU. Below is how you can do that;
